Happy Anniversary!

Today is my anniversary! We've been married 32 years and life is great. I was going to make John's card last night but our daughter was feeling well so went to deal with that and since it was late, went to bed. So this is hot off the press. Here is my card to him.

As you can see, he put a lot of effort into his card. The sad part is, he really is a good artist. But I must say he keeps me laughing! I was on Pinterest looking for ideas for his card and needed something simply and above is what I came up with. I did find some other verses that would love to use. Here is one I thought was cute: "You're the only one I want to annoy for the rest of my life. Happy Anniversary". Here is the other I thought would be good too: "On our anniversary, I want you to know how much I've enjoyed annoying you all this time & how excited I am to keep doing so in the future." Now of course I don't think I annoy him but of course he does. His typical question to me is "How much do I charge to haunt a house?" Well my response is: "Nothing! But I charge a lot to keep the ghosts out. Trying to hint, but he doesn't get it. The response is something like that and doesn't sound great but exactly what eludes me right now and John can't remember either. So I guess it wasn't a great response anyway. So this is my anniversary, but life is good and wouldn't want to be married to anybody else. We've been through a lot and look forward to the next 32 years! Life is GRAND! He's the best!

Holiday Mini Sneak Peak

Well I had to make a card for a swap using something from the new Holiday Mini Catalog. I waited until convention to get much from the annual catalog. We were able to purchase product from the Holiday Mini at Convention! How fabulous was that! Well there was a lot I wanted to get from that mini and I'll be busy on the next few weeks making samples. So the first card I did, I love, but way too much work for a swap.

I tried out a new technique which I'm going to incorporate into my September Technique class. So if this is peeking your interest, contact me to register. I also used the All Is Calm DSP. All in the new Mini! Next is the card I did for my swap.

Love this card, cased from LA Stamper. These supplies were also from the Holiday Mini. I used the All Is Calm DSP again and Endless Wishes. Very simple to duplicate. Stay tuned for more samples! I'm working on doing a demonstration at my upline Tina Rosenkrans Fall Fest.

Calendar update!

Well I've been working on my calendar for September. I've been participating in a "boot camp" to get my business back on track. So this past week's assignment was to do a month of classes and events. Technique Class

Had to reschedule my class last month and this month, so I did a combined class today. Everything we did were swaps I got at convention. Of course I had to change them up because I didn't have the stamps or DSP .  I would have put this up sooner but I've been having trouble move the pictures from my phone to the computer, so I only have one for now. I wish I knew who I got this idea from but I didn't get any contact info with this one. I did find several examples on Pinterest. I'll post the other two cards in the next couple of days.

This is a picture from convention. It started Wednesday evening with a Paper Pumpkin party. There was a make n' take for everyone. This is Dale, Trisha, Jessica, and me. We had lots of fun and tasty treats as well! Enjoy!
