A Few More September Swaps

Another week of my monthly group swaps! As a recap for those who haven't seen the previous posts, I participate in a group swap each month. The theme changes each month. Whoever is the host for that month chooses the theme. For September the theme was fall/Halloween. I have one more group of swaps next week, so make sure you come back to see the last group. I'll have new swaps in November. That will be a sketch, so even though we'll all be using the same layout, they will all be very different!
So this first card was made by Lilly. She used Touches of Texture and Delightful Daisy to create her card. This is a nice simple card to re-create. Her card base is Calypso Coral, then she used a layer from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. She stamped her images on Whisper White and layered it on Cajun Craze. The Touches of Texture is a 2 step stamp, which means it will take at least 2 stamps to make the image. So in this instance, the outline is one stamp and then another to fill in the color of the flower. The inks she used were the same as the card stock along with Old Olive. To finish it off she used a couple of rhinestone basic jewels and used the triple banner punch to flag the ends of the sentiment strip.

This next card was made by Debbie. I missed seeing her at our recent Fall Fest event. She recently moved to Hilton Head, South Carolina. I hope she makes it up to one of our events or I'm sure I'll see her at one of our local On Stage events. Debbie used the Pick a Pumpkin Bundle and Merry Cafe in the Holiday Mini. The background you see is the Burlap background stamp from the Annual Catalog and stamped in Crumb Cake. Her card base is Sahara Sand. All the pumpkins are on a piece of Very Vanilla that was die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The largest pumpkin here is die cut from the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper and the two greenery uses Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist. The two smaller pumpkins are stamped with  Cajun Craze & Soft Sky.

I hope you enjoyed these cards. Such great inspiration to make your fall cards. Next week I have a few more cards to share. Thank you for stopping by. I would love to hear from you. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd be more then happy to help you with inspiring your creativity! More Fall Fest Swaps!!!

It's Monday! It's back to the grind but it also means more Fall Fest Holiday Swaps! With all that said, I hope you have a great week. So far the weather for northwest New Jersey is sunshine and mild temps! Great weather for some fall cleanup! I do need to get outside and do that!

This first card was made by Donna. This is what the card looks like closed. There is another picture of the card open below. I guess you'd call this a gate fold card. The closure is a bit different. The plaid strip across the front has slits in it and they go together to hold the card closed! Donna used the Holly Berry Happiness set in the Annual Catalog along with several items in the Holiday Catalog. The plaid paper is from the Christmas Around the World Designer Series paper, which is one of the papers on sale this month! The card base is a piece of Garden Green.

Here you can see on the inside she used another pattern from the pack that matches the front! She layered a piece of Cherry Cobbler that has been scored to create the "gate". She stamped the sentiment on some Whisper White and punched it out with the new Everyday Label Punch.
This next card was done by Pat. I just love this reindeer! Isn't he adorable! This is from the Seasonal Chums which also is a bundle with the Seasonal Tags Framelits. The deer along with a snowman and pumpkin make these cute little tags you can put on gifts but you can also use the front &/or back on your cards! These images would be great in a window cards too! The trees and snowflakes are also dies in this bundle. Pat anchored everything on a circle of Whisper White cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The starry background is from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper. She colored in the reindeer with the Watercolor pencils and a blender pen. The card base is Real Red and the trees are Tranquil Tide.

This next card would be a great card to mass produce if you need to send out a few! Lilly made this card and used Snowflake Sentiments for her greeting. She also used Real Red for her card base with a layer of Whisper White. She then die cut one of the larger pieces from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits out of Silver Foil paper. The snowflake on top of that is a punched out a piece from the Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper and popped it up with a dimensional and added a rhinestone. At the top is a bow made with the 1/8" Silver Ribbon.
This next card I don't know who made it. Unfortunately they didn't put their info on it or their recipe. Here are those darling cats again! Last month I used the Spooky Cat bundle as my Product of the Month. See they're not so spooky are they? This designer used Real Red again for the card base and layered with the Merry Music Specialty & Quilted Christmas 6x6 Designer Series papers. In between those layers she added some Whisper White. In the corners are the Foil Snowflakes, which come in gold and silver in the package. To make those kitties even cuter she added a bow from the 1/8" White Sheer Ribbon.

This last card was made by Lois. If you haven't noticed, I tried to keep the simple color schemes together! This too is the red, black, white colors, but Lois used Cherry Cobbler for her card base. She also used the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper as well and the look is just so different! For the coffee cup she used the Merry Cafe and the coordinating dies Coffee Cups. This is another easy card to duplicate if you wanted to make a stack!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you've enjoyed another round of my Fall Fest Swaps!
