Feature Friday - Christmas Quilt

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a great week and will get some time to enjoy yourself over the weekend. I have a new product for you this month, it's the Christmas Quilt Bundle. I've played around with this bundle a bit, but looking forward to making more samples for you!
I knew I had to have this bundle when I saw it in the  Holiday Mini. I've been sewing since I was about 10. My grandmother was a fabulous seamstress! This bundle can make it look like you've done some sewing without pulling out that machine! It's a great bundle for those who don't know anything about sewing! Two of the dies emboss to give it a stitch look and don't cut out anything, how cool is that! This bundle does have a whole suite that coordinates with it. You can see in the above picture the embellishment on the sample card is one. There are three different quilted felt pieces, the holly, a star, and tree. There's a paper stack in 6x6, an embossing folder (quilt top), used in the above sample, and striped ribbon.
This first card showcases the embossing folder. All of the triangles are from one of the sheets in the paper stack. I could have used the "peace" from the set but felt the "season's greetings" went better. The star on top of the tree is from the bundle as well as the holly leaves.
This next card is actually in the Holiday Mini! I thought it was adorable and just had to make it! I used some of the patterned paper and stamped a couple of them die cut them out. The main tree is one of those quilted felt pieces.
This last card uses the main dies for cutting out the quilt images. I actually die cut it three times then put them all together! The best part is I now have two more to make a couple more cards. I did choose another sentiment but you could easily use one from the set.

I hope you enjoyed these samples. Next week I'll have some ideas to show you how to use this other then Christmas. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. Stampin' Blends Are Here!!!

Yes, you read right! Customer can now purchase the Stampin' Blends! I love these new alcohol markers! They make coloring and blending so easy! If you don't think you can blend colors/shades, you've got to try these new markers. I'm planning on putting together a class or two. See how simple it is to color.

So what do you think? Stampin' Up! has a great kit you can get (Color Me Happy) or use any of your line image stamps. You will need to stamp your images in Memento Black first. I highly recommend getting the color lifter and if you color people in, there is an ivory and bronze markers that make a variety of skin tones. You can get individual colors, combo packs of light & dark of 12 colors, or get the whole collection!
Here are the cards that come in the Color Me Happy card kit. The kit makes 16 cards, 4 of each designs. The markers you'll need for completing this kit are Night of Navy, Pink Pirouette, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, & Rich Razzleberry.
This card used Pool Party, Night of Navy, and a touch of Pumpkin Pie. I must say, these kits are VERY simple to put together.
There is a spool of gold tape that's included. An easy way to bling it up a bit.
Aren't these birds adorable? I don't have many bird stamps, looking forward to making some other cards using these birds.
I think the hardest thing making this card was attaching the string! The lantern is already cut out!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed these samples. I'll have more down the road. If you have any questions, please contact me, I'd be more then happy to help. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. Check out the benefits when shopping with me by using my monthly VIP Host Code and additional benefits HERE.
