Embossing Paste

So have you tried the Embossing Paste in the Annual Catalog? I LOVE it! I did a demonstration using it at Fall Fest and thought I had posted some of my samples using it. Since I didn't I'll work on show casing them this month. I do want to have a class using it, just haven't had a good date picked out yet. If you are interested in having a class with your friends, contact me and we can set something up.
For both these cards, I made my own masks using the Window Sheets. I used the Card Front Building to create the masks. This first card I used the paste right out of the container and while it was still wet I sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the trees and moon and stars. The "Let it Snow" is from the Merry Little Labels Bundle. This was a pretty simple card to put together.

This next card was also pretty simple but used an extra step. I tinted the embossing paste before putting it on the card then added Gold Glitter. Here is also used the punch from the Merry Little Labels Bundle to punch both layers of the sentiment. The sentiment is from Christmas Pines.
Here are the masks that I've made so far. Just another great use for your dies! Hope you enjoyed this quick post. I'll have more throughout the month with my samples I've made so far. This is a fun product to work with.

Thank you for stopping by. I look forward to your comments. You can find all these products in my STORE or look below for all the items I used on these cards. If you don't have a demonstrator, I've love to be yours. There are all kinds of benefits for shopping with me. Check out the the VIP Host Code and your Wish List for more details.

Feature Friday - Christmas Quilt

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a great week and will get some time to enjoy yourself over the weekend. I have a new product for you this month, it's the Christmas Quilt Bundle. I've played around with this bundle a bit, but looking forward to making more samples for you!
I knew I had to have this bundle when I saw it in the  Holiday Mini. I've been sewing since I was about 10. My grandmother was a fabulous seamstress! This bundle can make it look like you've done some sewing without pulling out that machine! It's a great bundle for those who don't know anything about sewing! Two of the dies emboss to give it a stitch look and don't cut out anything, how cool is that! This bundle does have a whole suite that coordinates with it. You can see in the above picture the embellishment on the sample card is one. There are three different quilted felt pieces, the holly, a star, and tree. There's a paper stack in 6x6, an embossing folder (quilt top), used in the above sample, and striped ribbon.
This first card showcases the embossing folder. All of the triangles are from one of the sheets in the paper stack. I could have used the "peace" from the set but felt the "season's greetings" went better. The star on top of the tree is from the bundle as well as the holly leaves.
This next card is actually in the Holiday Mini! I thought it was adorable and just had to make it! I used some of the patterned paper and stamped a couple of them die cut them out. The main tree is one of those quilted felt pieces.
This last card uses the main dies for cutting out the quilt images. I actually die cut it three times then put them all together! The best part is I now have two more to make a couple more cards. I did choose another sentiment but you could easily use one from the set.

I hope you enjoyed these samples. Next week I'll have some ideas to show you how to use this other then Christmas. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. There are all kinds of benefits for shopping with me. Check out the VIP Host Code and your Wish List. You'll find all the products used in my STORE or use the links below. I'd love to hear your comments and what you'd like to see and learn.
