Happy New Year!!!

Hope you had a great New Year's Eve! Here's a quick card I'm sharing today to celebrate the New Year.

Wanted to put together a quick card to celebrate the New Year and use some new product. This is a Sale-a-Bration set called Amazing You and this year there is a set of dies to coordinate with it! Stampin' Up! now has two levels of items you can get during Sale-a-Bration. You can't see it in the picture, but I added the mini dimensionals to "celebrate" to elevate it a bit.

Here's the inside. Can't leave the inside blank! The sentiment is from Cheers to the Year which is retiring tomorrow!

Feature Friday

Hi! So the year is winding down and this is the last Feature Friday for this year. I hope you liked last week post. I showed a couple of cards using this month's product. It was a lot of fun working with this bundle and hope you enjoyed all the ideas. If you'd like to view them again you can find them HERE, HERE, HERE, & HERE.

If you're new to my blog Feature Friday is a weekly post done on each Friday where I do "Feature Friday" (also called Product of the Month), where I show different ways to use a particular product. For December I choose the Musical Season Bundle. You can get it in clear or wood mount. Of course you can buy just the stamp set or just the framelits, but when you get both you save 10%!

Here's another birthday card that could also be masculine. I was trying to decide which of the washi tapes to use from the Year of Cheer washi pack. I went with the multi colored one and thought I would do the same for the guitar.

This is a close up of the guitar. I used Gold, Silver, & Copper embossing powder on the guitar. I also used the metallic sequins, since they too have these three colors in the pack. I really like how this one turned out too.

This last card I also CASED, but changed it up and added my own touch. I don't have the music background stamp (yet), which is what I wanted to use, so I went with the snowflake embossed piece. I actually had this laying around, left over from something else, and thought this worked perfect! A great card to send to someone in the winter time. Now if I used the music background stamp, you could use this anytime of year. You could use colors that reflect the season or who you're sending the card to.
