Feature Friday

I'm SO glad it's TGIF! I don't know how those commute on a regular basis! I've been so lucky that the years I had to commute it was 30 minutes tops. Having to drive an hour every day is a KILLER! Hopefully I'll only have to deal with this for a few more weeks! Ok, now that I got that out I feel much better!

I made a few more samples and still have samples from my Spring Fling event using this month's Product of the Month. It's such a great suite, I just can't get enough! On top of it all, there are so many products as part of this suite. I just love how well everything coordinates!
This is just the stamp set and coordinating dies. A new thing Stampin' Up! has started to do is have multiple pieces of the same die! They've done that with this set. There are 2 different leaves and they included 2 dies of each leaf! The same for a couple of the flowers too! So now, when you want say 2 leaves, you can stamp them 2 times and die cut them at the same time! Yippee!

This was a card I made for a display at Spring Fling. I did CASE this card, but don't have the info on who I CASED it from. The hardest part of this card was die cutting the rectangle. I used the Stitched Shapes and made a rectangle using the square die. This is a shaker card. I should have glued a few of the sequins to the card so there's always something there. The cake is form the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit. This is such a gorgeous kit. There are several different flower bunches, vellum pieces, velvet ribbon, tassels and a bunch more things. So all I did was cut a piece of DSP and adhered it to the card front, put the window/shaker together and then take a few pieces of the kit, made a bow from the metallic silver edge ribbon and there ya go!
Here's a real simple card. This DSP is just so beautiful you really don't need to do much more! The "best wishes" is from the Petal Palette and I used the Powder Pink Woven Ribbon and a heart from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.
This is like a goodie gift tag. I CASED this from one of our Artisan's for this year. Her name is Jessica Winter and I think she's from Germany since her blog is in German. Once I converted her metric into inches, this was pretty easy too! I used a piece of Whisper White Thick card stock that was 2"x 6 1/2" and scored it at 3 1/8" and 3 3/8" then punched both ends with the Scallop Tag Topper. I used a piece of DSP and die cut the tag image from the bundle, then used the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit again to decorate the tag. Oh, it's hard to see but I used one of the flower images and stamped one end of the strip of Whisper White card stock. A Ghirardelli fits in here perfectly! I adhered the chocolate inside and used the Silver Metallic Baker's Twine to close it all together.

I hope you enjoyed today's projects and they've inspired you to create some of your own! I look forward to your comments. If you have any questions or need help, please contact me. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours! I have a monthly VIP Host Code
