This first card was done by Lilly Ruiz. She did a "Z Fold" card. They call it that because it looks like a "Z". What's different about this card is the size. When folded it's 3 11/16" x 4 1/4". I'm pretty sure that the right size. Those sixteenths can throw a person off! You can get three of these out of one sheet of card stock! Isn't that great! Especially when you have a lot of some to make!.
In this picture you can see that "Z". This patterned paper has retired. I really loved this paper. You had just a few patterns of the five In Colors that came out last year. At least these colors are still current. Just think how many you can get using all that patterned paper!
Stamps: Picture Perfect Birthday
Ink: Memento Black
Card Stock: Powder Pink, Thick Whisper White, Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon
This next card was done by Mena Green. I'm not sure exactly what you call this type of fold, but you do 3 different score lines and you get this tiered look. I've usually seen this as a portrait style, so it's great to see this in a landscape look. Something I don't think I'd would have thought about. To make this card you'll need a piece of 5 1/2" x 11" piece of card stock and score it at: 1 1/4", 4", 6 3/4". You can stamp the sections, use a coordinating piece of card stock or use patterned paper or a combination like Mena did here.
Here's the card fully opened. This was fun patterned paper she used. I recently did a class using this paper. Great for not just birthday's but for any type of celebration.
