Feature Friday - Christmas Quilt

Is it Friday already?! I thought I had this post ready to go, but guess not! It's been a busy week. I guess better late then not!

So for those who haven't seen my Feature Friday posts before, I Feature a different product each month on the Friday of the month. I really liked this bundle in the Holiday Mini and had to get it right away! I found a quilt store near our home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and have gone to a few of the classes they have there. It's been fun. I don't really get much time to sew for fun so this fits the bill! With the Christmas Quilt bundle it's almost like sewing too! To check out the other post check it out HERE.

So this is the bundle. It comes in photopolymer. You don't have to purchase the bundle but when you do you save 10%! Who doesn't want to save a little! There are 2 pieces that just emboss and don't cut. It gives the look as if you stitched! So I promised some cards that don't have a Christmas theme to them.

This first card I cases completely. Sorry I don't remember who from at the moment, but a pretty simple card. The quilt star piece was the hardest part. Those are 2 stamps that you stamp a couple of times and can be a little challenging to line up but once you practice a bit it's not that bad. I used Calypso Coral and Lemon Lime Twist.

This card uses some of the colors in the Designer Series Paper. Here I used one of the pieces that just embosses. Isn't that neat how it looks like I did stitching around the star! Isn't that a cute little needle too? Another die cut!

This card could be used for the holidays since I did use the traditional Christmas colors but could easily be used for just a thinking of you card. I love the simplicity of this card.
