Occasions Swaps

Hope you're having a great week! January has been a busy month for me! I typically do just one swap but I have 2.5. Really 2 but signed up for a third but it's not due until next month, that's why I put 2.5!

So I organized a quick Occasions Swap because I'm having an Open House on February 10 and wanted to have some samples. There were ten of us in this group, so not to make this post too long, I'm only going to do a few today.

Today I'll share some birthday cards with you! Dale made this first card with Picture Perfect Birthday. This is a great set to make all those birthday cards you'll need! You can make cards for young & old, masculine & feminine as well. Plus there are sentiments you can use for inside your cards too! It's a great all around set. Dale also used a piece of the coordinating Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper. What's so neat about the DSP is the one side are actual pictures of cupcakes, presents, balloons, candles, etc. The candles she stamped can also be made into those party noise makers. Again a versatile stamp set.

This next card was done by Louise and made a Step card using Birthday wit. This set also has sentiments that work both on the front and inside your card. She also use the Layered Leaves embossing folder. This folder is one of those thicker ones and gives a much deeper impression to your card stock.

This last card was made by Leslie. She used the Petal Palette set. This is another suite of coordinating products (stamp, DSP, dies, embossing folders, embellishments) This was one of my must haves when the catalog came out. There are several sentiments in this set along with several images. (I'll be featuring this bundle in an upcoming Feature Friday). The "happy birthday" isn't from this set but works great with it.

Well I hope you enjoyed these birthday cards and get you into the groove for getting your's done for this year! If you need help making some birthday cards, I'll be holding a birthday card class late in February or March using the Perennial Birthday Project Kit.

Thank you for stopping by. I look forward to your comments. You can find all these products in my STORE or scroll down to find all the items used to make these cards. If you don't have a demonstrator, I've love to be yours. There are all kinds of benefits for shopping with me. Check out the VIP Host Code XHXR7FQP and your Wish List for more details.

Last Group of Swaps!

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. My husband finally decided to go down to Virginia and said he wanted me to go with him. I guess he felt he would be lonely without me! I think he just wants someone to help drive and cook! So as I scrambled to get everything together I noticed I didn't this post all ready to go! Thank goodness for checking!

In case you're just coming to my blog, I participate with a group of very talented demonstrators each month. The theme changes each month. The host picks the theme each month and they are due at the end of each month. So these swaps are from December and the theme was Smoky Slate, Perfect Plum, a DSP and it be a thank you card.

Isn't this adorable! I don't know but This Little Piggy stamp set is just too cute! Pat made this card. Not sure if you can tell, but the sentiment on the purple is heat embossed.

The next card was made by Vicki. Even though we all used the Smokey Slate as the base, her using enough white, it really brightens it up. She also didn't use much of the Perfect Plum.

This last card I made. I sponged the Petal Passion with the Perfect Plum and embossed the Perfect Plum with the Petal Pair embossing folder. The top layer is from Charming Cafe.

I hope these cards have jumpstarted your creativity! I'm so glad you stopped by and look forward to your comments. If you have any questions or need help with re-creating any of these projects, please contact me. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours! I have a monthly VIP Host Code to earn FREE product and card kits. Below is a list of all the products I used to make these cards.
