February Feature Friday Follow Up

This took me a couple of days to figure out how to this but now that I can do this I'll be working on doing this more and hopefully soon, I'll start producing videos! Yah!

So for last month I didn't get a chance to get this posted since I was swamped getting everything together for our Spring Fling event. I copied this from Martha Inchley. I thought this card was adorable and just had to make it. It did take a bit of figuring out and put together, but got it done. Wanted to show it for our event.
Isn't this a fun card! This is called a z fold spinner card and uses the Myths and Magic Bundle that I featured last month. I used fishing line for the circles to spin and Tombo Liquid Glue to adhere it to the fold. That was the trickiest part. I really need to make another one of these cards using other products. Such a fun card to receive!

Thanks for taking a look. I'd love to hear your comments. You can find all these products in my STORE or scroll down to find all the items listed. Feature Friday

TGIF!!! This has been a LONG week! Hopefully all my computer issues are behind me too.

So what's Feature Friday? Each Friday I Feature my Product of the Month. I show samples of cards, 3D, and other items using the Product for that month. I think eventually I may just do this for once a week and change this, just so I can showcase more product, but for now, this is all I can handle.

For March, I'm featuring the Cake Soiree Bundle and Suite. When first looking at this entire suite, it looks very feminine. Rest assured I will come up with something on the masculine side using this suite. Since we used this suite at our Spring Fling event, I already have many samples, but I'll work on some more, just for you! I did plan this, since I anticipated I would be swamped after our event and I also have to renovate an apartment, which won't give me as much time to create as I'd like to.

This first card was actually one of the last cards we came up with for our event. We basically looked to see what we hadn't used yet and used along with some other things. The Designer Series Paper that's apart of this suite is a specialty paper. First off, it's heavier then regular patterned paper and one side of each sheet has silver foil.  This paper is really stunning. All the solid flowers were stamped then die cut. Another great thing about the coordinating dies is that there are 4 leaves, 2 of the smaller flowers and 2 of the buttercup looking flowers. The other vine looking greenery is one die with the 3 that you see. So everything except the detailed flower could cut everything in one pass! All things to think about when planning make and takes for a large group!

Another great thing about this stamp set is there are many main images. In some sets it's usually one or two but this set, I feel has several. So for this next card, we used the present image, which has the flowers as part of the gift. This was fussy cut, but the bow and other greenery were die cuts. Also the Fresh Fig piece was embossed with the Petal Palette embossing folder. This folder is part of another suite, but doesn't it work great with this card? Just another great feature with Stampin' Up! everything coordinates! The flowers were colored in with our new Blends, which btw some are backordered!

This last project for today is the acetate box that carried over from the Holiday Mini. We used the other embossing folder from the Petal Palette and embossed the box then colored it in with the Blends. The only thing on this project that's part of the Cake Soiree Suite is the Berry Bliss Metallic Edge Ribbon. Won't these cards look beautiful in this box?

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a great weekend. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours, or if you'd like to order any of the product to make these items, you can find them in my STORE. If you'd like to see a list of all the items used, scroll down. Make sure you use this month's new VIP Host Code T4ED7Z7F. I'd love to hear your comments and please contact me with any questions.
