Picture Perfect Class!

I've been able to work over the weekend and finally put together a card class using the Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper! If you haven't seen this paper, it's great to use on cards for celebrations. In this class you'll make 6 different cards, all using this great Designer Series Paper! I had wanted to do a class where you'd have the paper to make the cards and take home the extra but since this product is retiring, I didn't want to take the risk of it not being available for everyone. Space for this class will be limited, so RSVP for this class now.
These cards will be great for those birthdays you have coming up and will be work for male/female, young/old! Very versatile I must say! I'm really happy with the way they turned out and look forward to having you attend this class! I'm scheduling a day and evening class. If the dates I have don't work for you, please let me know and we can set up something else that will work for you and your friends!

I'm scheduling another class later in May using the new Share What you Love Suite that's coming up in the new catalog! This is another class you won't want to miss!

March Monthly Swaps, Last Group

Hope you had a great weekend! The weather was beautiful! I think Spring is finally here! I even got out and did a little (very little) yard work. Let's pray it continues.

I have the last group of swaps to share from my monthly swap group. In case you don't remember, the theme for March was masculine birthday. I'm sure we can all use ideas for doing these. I'm also going to continue posting the supplies for each card just after the card.
This first card is done by Pat. What a great card! I really like this set and unfortunately it's retiring along with it's matching framelits.
Stamps-Vintage Leaves, Special Celebrations, Timesless Textures
Card Stock-Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Wood Textures DSP, Vellum
Ink-Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake
Accessories-Pine Wood Planks Embossing Folder, Leaflets Framelits, Everyday Label Punch, Linen Thread, Pearls
Laura did this next card. Have you noticed a trend? We used either the Wood Textures DSP or the True Gentlemen DSP. The stamp set she used is also retiring. Make sure you get either (or both) of these sets if they're on your wish list!

I did this last card. I too used the True Gentleman DSP. I did CASE (Copy And Share Everything) this card. I been wanting to use this stamp set since I got it but just haven't had the time. Nothing like a swap to put on the pressure! The "happy birthday" is from Rose Wonder which is also retiring.

More March Monthly Swaps

I have more of my monthly swaps. I wanted to post this earlier this week, but I'm still at these renovations and if I don't get this done before I leave, it just doesn't happen! We're finally getting some teasers of warmer weather and so enjoying it! Soon it will be time to get outside and clean up from the winter and get the garden ready. Usually I'd be half done with this but I don't like to work outside in the cold. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll be pretty much done with these renovations and get back to a regular blogging schedule.

Ok, enough of all that! Here are some more swaps! In case you're new or don't remember (like me), I participate with a group of some very talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. The theme is picked by who is hosting that month and the theme for March was masculine birthday. Since I don't have much time to post all the supplies at the bottom with links to my STORE, I'll be listing the supplies used with each card. Please let me know how you like it.
This first card was made by Debbie. I finally broke down and got this bundle. There really is so much you can do with this bundle, I figured it was worth it. Now to use it!
Stamps- Bubble Over
Card Stock-Bubbles & Fizz, Chocolate Chip, Whisper  White, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay
Ink- Chocolate Chip, Bermuda Bay, Basic Gray

This next card was done by our host Jen. Sadly she'll be leaving the group for a bit.

The last card for today was done by Vicki

I hope you enjoyed these cards and have given you inspiration to make some yourself. If you have any questions, or need some help with anything, please contact me, I'd be more then happy to help. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd appreciate your business. I have several incentives for my customers. Check out the tabs above, especially LOYALTY REWARDS, WISH LIST, and MONTHLY VIP HOST CODE. You can find all the above products in my STORE and make sure to use this months VIP Host Code VSZMUHCA

March Monthly Swaps

I hope you you had a great weekend. Mine just flew by! I had wanted to get this posted Monday, and a little late today, but we put in a long day on Sunday and yesterday and just didn't have it in me to take the pictures, edit them, then write the post. Since I didn't do any renovations Monday, I was able to get a little other work done, but not nearly enough. On top of it all, our Retired List came out and other big changes coming in June!

When you're viewing the Retired List you'll see all the bundles retiring. As usual, the bundles are only available during the catalog it's in and if it carries over into the next catalog you can still purchase it but you won't get the 10% discount. So if you're interested in any of the bundles in the current Annual catalog or Occasions catalog, get them now!

You'll also notice all the ink pads are retiring. Only some of the colors are actually retiring, in addition to the one group of In Colors. What's happening is, Stampin' Up! has redesigned the case and made it easier to open and the ability to stack them. In addition to that, they've improved the formula of the re-inkers so you don't get bubbles or foam when re-inking your pads.

Ok enough of all that exciting news! For our March swaps the them was masculine cards. We all seem to struggle with making masculine cards, so this should help you a great deal. Again, since I don't have lots of time, I won't be putting out a list of all the product used but I will give you the recipe and you'll be able to find all the product in my STORE.
So Lilly made this first card. I'm not sure what you call this, but I've been wanting to make this style, I'll have to look into making one. Below each card I've done it a little differently. You'll see the stamps, ink, paper listed along with any accessories, dies, etc.
Stamps-Truly Tailored
cs-Very Vanilla Thick,Night of Navy, True Gentleman DSP
ink-Tranquil Tide
Other-Polka Dot Basic Folder
I think quite a few of us used this True Gentlemen Designer Series Paper! I know I did! This is a great layout Mena did! I'll have to also use this on another card.
Stamps-Truly Tailored
inks-Night of Navy, Early Espresso, True Gentlemen DSP, Emerald Envy, Early Espresso, Whisper Whte
other- Everyday Label punch

The last one for today was done by Carol. Not sure you can see it but she did color the grass around the dog and tractor. It's hard for me to remember, but simple is always great for guy cards!
Stamps-Heartland
cs-Chocolate Chip, Very Vnilla, True Gentlemen DSP
ink-Chocolate Chip
other-sponge, Blends, Old Olive (light), Crumb Cake (light), dimensionals

I hope you enjoyed today's post. Sorry for the long intro, just trying to play catch up. Hopefully next week things will be back to normal. I'll have to share some pictures of what we've done too!

I would love to see some comments and if you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. Check out the tabs above. Make sure to use my  Monthly VIP Host Code VSCMUHCA, WISH LIST, and LOYALTY REWARDS. Also check out the Retired List, and shop early for best selections. You can find everything in my STORE.

Feature Friday - Opps It's Saturday!

Well if you've been following me, you know I've been overwhelmed with renovations! We are close to being done and hopefully by the end of next week I'll be done or only a few finishing touches. If you ever watch those home renovation shows, things NEVER go like that in real life! It felt like at every turn, there was another issue! These renovations we've been doing are on the first house my husband I bought and since my hubby is a very handy guy, he changed it into a two family house which helped a great deal in paying the mortgage and then giving us a small income. So this is where the renovations have been taking place. It's about an hour drive to get there and since we don't do rush hour, we try to leave when that over and try to head home before it begins! Another reason it's taken so long. Thus the reason for not much happening here. Lately, by the time we get home, I make dinner and whatever else needs tending to, I don't get much time or energy for any creativity!

For the month of April my Product of the Month that I'll feature each Friday will be the Petal Passion Suite, specifically the Petal Pallette Bundle. I do have a few samples, but think I've already posted them from some other things that I had going on. Stampin' Up! does have a video that I thought I'd share to give you an idea of all the wonderful products in this suite!
Here is the bundle. The stamp set comes in clear mount or wood. There are 10 dies. Some die cut the images in the stamp images, the others coordinate with the set.
This is from the catalog showing cards you can make using the suite. What's great about the black and white is you can use whatever colors you want, including coloring the Designer Series Paper!
This is the rest of the product suite. I had the ribbon as a VIP Host Code gift from last month and this month you can get the embellishments!

Thanks for stopping by. I'm hoping to be back next week with some fresh ideas using this suite. Please also check out my new VIP Host Code VSZMUHCA when purchasing any of the above product used. You can find all these items and more in my STORE.

Markering Technique

I hope you had a wonderful Easter and Passover. I'm still in the midst of renovations and hoping to be done next week. If not, it'll be pretty close! I was so busy with all that then getting ready for company on Easter I haven't had any extra time to stamp!

I thought I'd share a video on using your markers to stamp.

If you'd like to get all the markers and don't want to spend that kind of money all at once, you can do it as a marker club! Contact me and we can get your club set up!

Marker Club Details:

Each month one person is the “hostess” and will earn the hostess benefits (minimum benefits = $15.00 to spend in the catalog).

The hostess for that month can also choose to get outside orders and/or schedule a workshop to try and earn even more hostess items: however, this is not required.

The items purchased above are then distributed as follows:

4 People Participating – the cost is $44.43 per person per month for 4 months
1st Person
(Hostess)
Marker Case, 1 Set of Markers , Package of Matching Assorted Cardstock & Whisper White Cardstock
2nd Person
1 Set of Markers, Package of Matching Assorted Cardstock
3rd Person
1 Set of Markers, Package of Matching Assorted Cardstock
4th Person
1 Set of Markers, Package of Matching Assorted Cardstock

At the end of 4 months, each person has a complete set! Woo-Hoo!
