Stamparatus!!!

HUGE announcement from Stampin' Up! at On Stage. They are unveiling their new stamp positioning tool. I think this is the best one on the market! I've seen some new ones come out lately and this has what the others have and then some! On November 16 Customers and Demonstrators can reserve theirs. I posted on my Facebook page as well. View below for more details.

More Embossing Paste

Last week I posted some of the samples I made for my demonstration at Fall Fest. I couldn't wait to get this product from the Annual Catalog. It's something very different and really gives your project some dimension. With the holidays, you can add the paste to the green springs in the Holiday Mini. I'd show you a sample, but unfortunately I didn't get them. Today I have some cards that you could use for birthday's or any other occasion, just change out the the sentiment.
I love how this card turned out! The card base is Emerald Envy with a layer of Powder Pink. I used the Powder Pink re-inker to color the embossing paste and used one of the masks from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. While it was still wet I sprinkled some gold glitter. I didn't want to cover all of the pink. The strip of pattern paper is from Naturally Eclectic Designer Series pack. The sentiment and flowers are from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Bundle. I used gold embossing powder for the flowers. I used my aqua painter for the flowers and leaves.
This next card was an experiment. It's been awhile since I made it so hopefully I will explain it correctly! The card base is Tempting Turquoise with a layer of Whisper White. On this sample I used the Glossy paper. We used to carry it and so glad to see it back! I used re-inkers and rubbing alcohol to create the background. I also colored the embossing paste then sprinkled some silver embossing powder on the wet embossing paste. Here I used the brick background from the masks.
These next two cards were done the same with sightly different colors. The background was a watercolor wash. Both cards I also colored the embossing paste with three different colors: Lemon Lime Twist, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz. The card at the bottom is the same mask that I used on the first card and the card above is also from the mask pack.
I hope you enjoyed these cards and will give the embossing paste a try. If you're interested in doing a class, let me know.

Thank you for stopping by. I look forward to your comments. You can find all these products in my STORE or look below for all the items I used on these cards. If you don't have a demonstrator, I've love to be yours. There are all kinds of benefits for shopping with me. Check out the the VIP Host Code and your Wish List for more details.
