Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you have a very special day! Even if you have to work! I don't have anything special planned and that's ok. I'll probably make a special dinner for my husband. We usually don't go out to eat or anyplace on Valentine's Day because so many other people do and neither of us enjoy the crowds. So I'm just fine with staying home.

Today I'm sharing the remainder of swaps I received for January because the theme was Valentine's Day and wanted to share these asap. Even though you could use these for wedding & anniversaries, I'm sure changing them for a special birthday, thinking of you, etc.

In case you're wondering what this swap thing is I'm talking about, it's a monthly swap I'm in with a group of very talented demonstrators. We all lived in New Jersey, but one just moved away. I'll miss seeing her at our events, but at least with the swap, we'll keep in touch! Each month the theme changes. Whoever is the host for that month chooses what the theme is.

I didn't include my swap in either of these because I had already posted it during my Product of the Month/Feature Friday posts in January. To view my swap, you can find it HERE with all the product that I used as well to make it.

So let's start with Pat's card. She used one of the new heart sets in the Occasions Catalog called Heart Happiness. I didn't get this set, but did get the paper. I typically don't do many Valentines anymore since my kids are grown, but the two sets in the Occasions are really cute! Thanks Pat for such a nice simple card!

This next card was made by Laura. I like how she combined several different "Heart" themed products to create her card. The "Be Mine" is from the Bloomin' Love, which I highlighted last month and several different heart shapes, colors, & textures. The vellum heart I think she did with a stylus, like the one in the Simply Score tool.

This next card was made by Debbie. She is the one I mentioned on Monday that recently moved out of New Jersey. So sad! Anyway what a lovely card! She used the ruffled embossing folder as a background. This is one of those thicker folders and can sometimes crack your paper. If you lightly spray your card stock with water, this helps alleviate this problem. Also because it's so thick, you only need one acrylic pad when embossing in the Big Shot. She also combined both the "heart" sets in the Occasions, Heart Happiness & Sure Do Love You. Such a cute simple card.

This last card was done by Lilly. Here she shows how you don't have to have those Valentine stamp sets to make a Valentine card! So simply but beautiful! Lilly inked the bottom of "love" with some Cherry Cobbler ink to give it that ombre look, what a great idea!

I hope you enjoyed these cards and that you have a wonderful Valentine's Day! If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. Check out the Wish List and VIP Host Code for the specials I have for my loyal customers.
