Feature Friday

Can you believe this is the last Friday of January? I have a few projects for you today. With everything I've posted this month you should have some great Valentine cards and such for next month. Also some great ideas for some fancy birthday cards and for weddings and anniversaries as well!

So just a reminder, I'm using the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set and Bloomin' Heart Thinlits this month as my Product of the Month. I just love this bundle and did so much with it when it came out, I thought I should dust it off and use it again! Unfortunately you can't purchase it as a bundle, but they are both still available! I'm going to warn you this is a LONG post! I thought I'd show you some old samples I had from when this set first came out.

To start off, I'm showing you some swaps I had in my stash. Some of the items, may no longer be available, but you could easily use alternative product.

This first card added the flowers on top of the die cut and die cut a heart from the Sweet and Sassy Framelits to go underneath to help pop the detail of the floral heart.

This one uses an embossing folder we no longer carry along with the Blushing Bride Glimmer paper.

I think this card was from a class we did when the set first came out. That's the envelope also stamped and embellished! This used some DSP that coordinated with the stamp set too along with that amazing glimmer paper! (I still have it!)

So here are some new samples for you! This first one is a small treat holder. Pretty simple using the Scallop tag topper punch and the gorgeous Painted with Love Designer Series Specialty paper. Every sheet on one side has gold foil and it's a heavier weight then our regular DSP.

Here is a great simple card. I inked the small heart first in VersaMark and then in Real Red and sprinkled clear embossing powder on and heat set. Then I die cut it with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits. The "Love You" I used white embossing powder.

This last card, another simple one. Here I die cut the heart then die cut it again with the Bold Butterfly. I die cut with the vellum at the same time, just to save a step. I also added the clear epoxy shapes that's in the Occasions catalog.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope these projects got your creative juices going and you make some wonderful Valentine cards and treats. I look forward to your comments. You can find all these products (except the retired items) in my STORE or look below for all the items I used on the projects.  If you don't have a demonstrator, I've love to be yours.
