The Swaps Are In!!!

My monthly swap group is a little behind, but we're all caught up now! They did come in while I was away and I'm just having time to post these! I have swaps going back to July to share with you! I do want to warn you this post is a little long!

So July's Theme was Monochromatic, white on white. Since so many did that in June, Mena the host, said just Monochromatic of any color if they wanted. Most did stick with the white on white, which by the way, isn't that easy to photograph so I'm apologizing now for the pictures. You'll be able to find all the products used on these cards in my STORE and I'll put another link at the end.

Just in case you're wondering, that glittery strip was made with the Multi Purpose Adhesive sheet and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter! Love how it sparkles!

I die cut the oval and then using the new Stamparatus, I stamped the flower and thanks. Made it so much easier!

I don't think you can see it in the photo, but she stamped images in the upper right and lower left corners and embossed them with the white embossing powder. The card is really stunning in person!

Feature Friday!

UPDATE!!!
I realized after I posted this I forgot to add all the supplies I used! So you'll find them at the bottom!

Is it really TGIF! I'm still playing catch up! I didn't get these projects done until Friday afternoon, but I'm getting there! We've had so much rain lately it's been hard to figure out when would be a good time to get out and do some weeding. Well I finally got some done before the flood gates opened! We now have a flash flood advisory until Saturday morning.

Ok, back to stamping! Since this is a new month for this Friday, I have a new product to share! This bundle was high on my wish list when the new annual catalog came out but I haven't had a chance to play with it until today! This month's product is Abstract Impressions. I was so sad that all my butterflys had retired and then when I saw this bundle, I was so delighted.

So this is the bundle. There is some patterned paper that also coordinates with this and I did use it on both of today's cards. This really looks like a set you could use for a lot of different occasions. It's all about the colors and how dressed up you want your card.

This is the page right out of the catalog. Some of the projects are simple and some are a bit more work, but all are beautiful!

Here is my first card. I CASED (Copy And Share Everything) both of these cards. Stampin' Up! Artisans did a blog hop last month or in June and one of them did a card like this one but used some different colors. I embossed the shimmery card stock with the floral die and then did a watercolor wash over it. Then I did a die cut of the same die from the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper.

Here is a close up of the die and wash. I fussy cut "love". This card went together pretty quickly.

This card I CASED from Linda Van Wely-Zwolle. I'm not sure what she used for the background, behind the butterfly, but I used the new Artisan Textures stamp and So Saffron. I also added the gold metallic thread. This card came together VERY quickly.
