Monthly Swaps Last Group

Feature Friday on a Saturday!

A belated Happy Friday! It's been raining off and on all week but hopefully we'll have a great clear weekend! At least it will now be easier to weed those pesky weeds in my flower beds that have taken off because of all the rain! LOL!

I know I missed the last 2 Fridays! I'm so sorry, but sometimes life happens and you just have to deal with it! This is the bundle/suite I'm featuring this month. I've had a lot of fun playing with this suite. I hope you do too! I was hoping to do a sampler to show, maybe I'll get to it this weekend and post it. So stay tuned! The first couple of cards I made while I was on vacation. Yup I brought my stuff to work on some projects. I'm that far behind!

Both of these cards were pretty simple to make. The above was stamping the octopus around and then some of the other images in the set. I believe I stamped off before stamping the images. I love the sand dollar dies in this bundle. I think it adds so much!

This next card I CASED (Copy And Share Everything) from the catalog on page 17. They used Stitched All Around (another new favorite!). Not only does the catalog show you everything we have to offer, but such great ideas as well! Ever stuck on what to make, just flip through the pages and use one of the projects there! I used the card as a sketch. I changed the stamp set, card stock, and inks! Makes life so much easier!

This last card we did at my recent July Technique class. If you live local, please come! I'd love to have you and everyone has a great time! This technique I got from Jennifer McGuire. I changed up everything here as well, just used hers as a template.

So when you open the card, it's like a shadow box or diorama! On this octopus I inked it in several colors. Initially I inked it in Balmy Blue, then used a sponge dauber to add Pool Party through the middle, then some Blueberry Bushel on the head. It just gives it so much more depth!
