November Technique

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? If all is going well, I'm getting some sun and relaxing on board the Breakaway! We were in Mexico and the Cayman Islands over the weekend and spending the day in Jamaica today! Before we left I was watching the weather and the temps were in the 80's and sunny. I hope the weather holds for our trip!

Today I'm sharing another card we did at my November Technique class. I've seen so many different cards using this technique. It's called the Bridge Fold. It's a fun way to show a card and give some dimension.

To create this card, I used some ideas from Pinterest and the Annual Catalog. Sometimes when I make a card and CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from the catalog, so many are surprised. They always want to come up with something new. That's great but sometimes I just need to get a card made and done so I can move one with other things.

This was another sample I made showing another example of the same technique. This card was super simple to put together. I used some of the new Champagne Foil paper in the Holiday Mini.

In this photo you can see more of the Champagne paper. The snowflakes were also die cut from the Champagne paper. I really like this Year of Cheer Specialty DSP. You can really use it all year! This paper is so rich, it makes any card elegant! Besides holiday cards, this paper would be great for anniversary or a special birthday.
