Feature Friday

Hope your week has been going well. I'm so happy I'm finally getting on top of things again! I know this won't last but for the time being, it's a good thing! I had cards to get out this week and swaps to do. Getting some swaps posted earlier this week has certainly helped to get ahead!

It's that time again to showcase some samples using my Product of the Month! I must say I'm really having a great time making samples using the Magical Day and coordinating framelits called Magical Mates. This week I wanted to make a special Valentine's card for my husband and today is a good friend's birthday, so guess what I used! Yup! Nothing like killing two birds with one stone! No I don't do that!

So here is the bundle. You can get them separately, but when you get them together you save 10%! Since it's Sale-a-Bration you could earn a FREE item when you purchase this in wood mount or add some glue dots and then you'll earn a Sale-a-Bration item!

I did case this changing ever so slightly to make it my own! Not sure what they used, but I used the Brusho Crystals on the Stitched circle. My husband is my knight, really! If you've ever been to my home, he had some armour made for him. He used to do school presentations and also appeared at some renaissance faires. So see, he is my knight in shining armour! I thought this was so appropriate for Valentines Day. Next week is his birthday, so I'll have to come up with something else using this set for him as well.

Here is the card I made for my good friend. Since today is her birthday and hopefully she has received her card I thought it was safe to post it. I cased this too, but changed it also for what I was making. It's a shaker card. I used a circle die to create a fish bowl and put a mermaid and seahorse in there. I filled it with the iridescent sequins and used our foam adhesive strips. I'm writing this earlier in the week so I haven't mailed it yet, but don't believe it will cost extra in postage.

Here's a close up of the fish bowl so you can see the watercoloring I did. The hardest part was trying to answer the phone & texts while I was trying to do this coloring! I'm happy with the way it turned out. I hope you like it too.

Thanks for stopping by. I hoped you enjoyed these samples and want to give it a try. You can find these items in my STORE or scroll down to find a list of everything I used. Make sure you use this month VIP Host Code F7H7Z6ZZ. Why use the Host Code? Also check out the other benefits for shopping with me. I look forward to your comments. Stop by next week to see what I'm up to!
