Feature Friday

Yes I know it's Saturday, but things had to get changed around. I was suppose to have my Technique Class today but had to move it to Friday and was still in the process of putting together projects for it when I should have been getting this post together. LOL! I'll get it together some day!

So since I haven't really put a post together for this month. Here is the first Product of the Month. I'm coordinating the special Stampin' Up! has with the Share What You Love. There are 3 bundles to choose from along with the new In Colors. But I'm focusing on the bundles you can purchase this month. They are really great deals. Each bundle has FREE item(s)! I'll post the specials at the bottom of this post.
This is the stamp set I'll be focusing on. "Love What You Do" It's a great versatile set.
Here is the Designer Series Paper, Share What You Love. This is gorgeous paper. It's a speciality paper and the pack is a double pack with 24 sheets and most of the papers has a pearlized accent. The picture really doesn't do it justice. The only way to get this paper this month is in the biggest bundle.
This first card is did case from Dawn Thomas. This is a great way to use up some scraps. Really not much to this card. I took a piece of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of black card stock and after punching out pieces of the DSP with the Tailored Tag punch. I even used the punch for flagging the end of the sentiment strips. You don't see it, but I layered this panel on a piece of Petal Pink, a new color. The ribbon is also part of this bundle. It's a Rich Razzleberry Velvet ribbon that I tied a piece of white Baker's Twine around the middle.
This next project was a lot of fun. I saw this on The Paper Pixie's site. She does some unusual boxes or containers. I think she called it a Pop Out Box. She got it from another demonstrator as well, but I don't remember her name. I used the same ribbon as a belly band to hold the box closed.
Here it is with the lid off. The inside has what's called a napkin fold. The box bottom is a base box.
Here's a top view.
And here is what it looks like all the way open. I used the Statement of the Heart set and die cut it with the Stitched Shapes. A fun project to make.

I hope these have inspired you to get one of these bundles or try these yourself. If you need help with creating these, please contact me. To purchase these bundle, scroll down. Here is also a video describing the different bundles. As always, you can find all these products in my STORE or use the links below. Make sure to use this month VIP Host Code 4MXCH2YS.
