Feature Friday

TGIF! That means Feature Friday! I hope you enjoyed last week's ideas. This week I have some tags for you! I thought, since the holidays, you'll need tags for gifts and if you're giving a gift to someone who loves music (don't we all!) these would make that gift look even better! I also made a little box to go with the tags! You could make up a bunch of the tags and put them in the box and give them as a gift!

If you're wondering what I'm talking about. I feature a product all month on Fridays and show you samples using that product. I try to also give you some ideas on different ways you may not have thought about using that product. For December the Featured Product is Musical Season. It certainly has that holiday feel to it, but later in the month I will show you how this bundle will work all year long!

So here is the box with the tags. Now when I was making the tags I didn't have the box in mind and that tag with the horn, doesn't fit in the box. If I had thought about the box ahead of time, I would position the horn differently and then it would fit in the box! lol!

The box itself is made out of Old Olive card stock and the Envelope Punch Board. For this box you start with a piece of 6" square piece and punch and score on three of the sides at 2" & 4". The fourth side you just do the punching at 2" & 4". That fourth side you'll cut off that "tab" and on the opposite side you'll snip along the score lines, just to the intersection. Then just fold along all score lines and bring it all together. I used a piece of the DSP as a belly band and die a black scallop circle and a regular circle from the DSP. I stamped the greenery with the Memento and colored it in with the Blends. The harp was stamped with the Black Archival then die cut.

Here is the group of four tags. I did case these tags, but changed them slightly. On the back of the tags I stamped a "To" & "From".

Some close ups of each tag. I tried to keep the tags simple and easy to duplicate.

Here's the guitar. I used the copper embossing powder on black card stock.

Here's that harp again. Similar to the box front, but here I copper embossed on black card stock.

That horn just says it all I think. To make it fit in the box, I'd turn it a bit.
