For those who haven't been to my blog before, I participate in a monthly group swap and the theme changes each month. Whoever hosts the swap for the month chooses what the theme will be. For November the theme was flat ornaments.
This first ornament was made by Gayle. I love the way this turned out. She used the Eastern Medallions thinlits and die cut it in gold foil. This die is not something you think about for Christmas! I think it turned out great and so festive! The Stitched Felt star really gives it that holiday feel.
This next ornament Vicki made. This would make a nice and simple ornament if you wanted to make several. Vicki used the Year of Cheer Designer Series Specialty paper, silver glimmer paper and the Foil Snowflakes.
Pat made this next one. She used the Metallic Foil Doilies as her base. She also shows another way to use the Seasonal Chums. This set has a front and back to them and the die cuts them out to create a label/tag.
This next one is done by Jen. I think this has a nice country feel to it. This set is called Seasonal Lantern. This bundle has many pieces to cut out which makes it easy, no fussy cutting!
This last ornament was made by Carol. It's one I've tried before. It's like doing origami. You start with a rectangle piece of paper and do some folding and each piece goes inside the other. No gluing involved! What's also neat about this ornament is she used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.
