2 More Sale-a-Bration Swaps

I have couple a couple of "tasty" swaps for you today. Have you seen the Sale-a-Bration set called Tasty Trucks? Well if not, I have a couple for you today! I've seen them used several ways and these two are just adorable.

This first card is made by Jennifer. I'm in a general monthly swap with her and finally got to meet her at On Stage in November. She also recently became one of Stampin' Up!'s Artisans. I feel so special to be a part of the swap and able to swap with her on a monthly basis! But back to THIS swap! This reminds me of the ice cream truck that would come around in the summer when I was a kid! She also used the Urban Underground & Cupcakes and Carousels DSP. This is a nice set to color! Love it!
This next card was done by another talented demonstrator Barbara. I'll be going to On Stage with her in April too! This is such a fun set. Here are two uses for this truck. The set also comes with a taco, cupcake, & pancake stack images along with several word phrases. These cards are making me hungry!

I have to make a few cards with this set! These swaps have inspired me and I hope they have inspired you!

Sale-a-Bration Swaps Continued!

So have you liked the swaps so far? I have a few more to share.

This one was made by another good friend Louise. I think so far all these swaps have been by good friends! Amazing that before I became a demonstrator I didn't know much about stamping or had many friends! Now, I know so many stampers and have so many friends! That's just ONE reason to be a demonstrator. I think it's the BEST part of being a demonstrator! Anyway back to the card. She also used the Designer Tee stamp set and also didn't use the T-shirt framelits. I do like this bundle, but I can only get so much! I love all the color that she used, just like a rainbow! The strips were made from the set Work of Art.

This next one was made by Laura. Laura and I along with a couple of other demonstrators are going to On Stage in Richmond in April. I can't wait. We'll get to see the new annual catalog! How exciting! Another advantage to being a demonstrator! Ok, back to the card. This set is called So Very Much. Laura embossed the "thank you" with silver embossing powder, which really sets it off! This set is great set for sending all kinds of thank you cards. She also used the Playful Palette DSP which coordinates with the Work of Art stamp set.

This last card was made by Donna. I love how she used the DSP Inside the Lines along with the Metallic Ribbon. This paper is so much fun to play with! You can leave it blank, color it in with pencils, markers, or even watercolor it! And the ribbon is so luxurious! I thought this ribbon would be stiff, but it's not, it's so soft and supple.

Well that's all for today. I hope you've enjoyed this latest batch. I'll have two more posts with four more cards. Also, I talked about being a demonstrator today and if you're curious about what it entails, contact me and I can give you more info. Stampin' Up! has a great deal during Sale-a-Bration to sign up. You can also go to my website for more info on joining this fabulous family!

More Swaps!

As promised here are a few more swaps! Both of these swaps used the Avant Garden. I really like this set. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it! One can never have enough flower stamp sets!

This first one was done by another good friend Dale. Dale also helped in the planning and preparing of our Spring Fling event. The background was the top of the flower stamped repeatedly around the border. Doesn't it look like patterned paper? Very simple, but elegant I think!

This next one was made by another good friend Debbie. I just love these colors. Really makes you think spring! The stripes behind the top layer is the new 2016-2018 Envelope Paper! I didn't get this paper, I'm going to think twice about that paper. You can obviously use it to make envelopes, but using it as you would patterned paper! I really like these new colors they introduced in the annual catalog. Don't they look yummy?

I hope you enjoyed these cards and have inspired you to make some of your own or want to get this set! If you need any of the supplies to re-create them you can find them in my store.

Spring Fling!?

No it is spring, sad to say, but our Spring Fling event is over and I can now concentrate on my classes, blogging, and everything else! We had a great day and everyone loved the projects we had planned. If you're wondering what the Spring Fling event was, it's our local event that my upline Tina puts on and I've been helping her plan and prepare it for the last several years. As demonstrators for Stampin' Up! we get together to share ideas, create stamped projects, learn about new products and business ideas. We had a couple of organized swaps, which I participated in and had lots of fun in general. Over the next few weeks, I'll share with you the swaps that I made and received. The smaller swap was for Sale-a-Bration.
Sale-a-Bration is a huge sale that Stampin' Up! has every year, starting in January. You get a FREE item for every $50 you spend, so everyone makes out. To top it off, last year Stampin' Up! started adding product halfway into this huge event! So next week you'll have even more items to choose from!
This first swap is mine. I used the Designer Tee set. The "Happy Birthday" is from that set, along with many other sayings that fit great into the Tee framelit in the Occasion Catalog. I didn't get that framelit (I know crazy!) but wanted to show it being used without the framelit. I also used the Candle Border punch. We made a similar card at the recent Open House. I tried to keep it simple, so if the recipients wanted to use it for a class. That's part of the reason for participating in a swap, is to get ideas and to have more samples! I hope you enjoy!
The next swap is from a good friend Gayle. She ran the swap and came all the way down from Massachusetts to be with us! Doesn't she do lovely work! She used Delicate Details. I love the colors, very soothing, don't you think? This is a very easy card to duplicate for a class!
Well I hope you enjoyed these cards and I will post a few more in a couple of days!

New Name!!!

I have been working on "branding" myself and in doing so wanted to have the same name everywhere. So if have been looking for me at cyndystamps.blogspot.com it isn't there anymore. I'm hoping this will work. I now have to change my business cards, flyers, etc. But hoping in the long run it helps. I called my blog Cyndy's Creative Corner but the address was cyndystamps because that was my Stampin' Up! web address. Well guess what? I changed that too! After such a long time at one address this is a BIG step for me. I want to make more of an appearance online so here we go! I hope you like it!

So with all that, I had a great open house over the weekend. We had LOTS of displays and a fun make n' take. Here is the make n' take we did Saturday.
Here are a couple of pictures from the open house.

Another Beautiful You!

I had sent a picture of a card I did with Beautiful You set. Here is another quick and easy card using that same set. I used the new watercolor pencils to color in the one image and the aqua painter. It really makes her stand out don't you think?
I just layered this on Basic Black, Stamped the "celebrate" from the set and used a heart from the silver & gold enamel collection. Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy card. If you need more info, please let me know.

Succulents

I was over at my upline's home yesterday working on our Spring Fling event and started talking about the Oh So Succulent stamp set and coordinating framelits. So we decided to get together today to making some as a display for our upcoming event. I couldn't wait so I started making some last night! Once I started, I just couldn't stop! Here is what I have done so far! Wouldn't you just love to make these? Well you're in luck! I'm in the process of putting together a class so you can make your very own! Let me know what dates are good for you!
Happy Stampin'
Cyndy
