Here is what December's kit makes. I like to get started by making what the kit intends to be. This month's kit is called Flora & Flutter. Something nice to do instead of thinking of winter!
For my alternatives, I tried to keep them simple since I was freezing! Here is the first alternative. I used a piece of Crumb Cake for the base and stamped the Congratulations in Crumb Cake on the sides. I cut one of the cards front off and cut two of the boarder from the Lemon Lime Twist leaves piece and layered them and then put on the card front. I stamped the Congratulations again in Berry Burst on Crumb Cake card stock. The only extra I used on this card was the Crumb Cake card stock and ink, otherwise everything was in the kit!
This next card I used several new items. Don't the leaves look like it could be under the sea? I backed it with some of the new glimmer paper and the Magical Day stamp set and coordinating framelits from the new Occasions Catalog along with my Blends markers.
