I've been so busy getting ready for Spring Fling, I haven't had a chance to put together a post for today! I have been making LOTS of samples, but they'll be part of up coming posts and didn't want to spoil it for those who will be at this weekend's event. So instead I thought I'd post a few videos of some of the product in the Occasions Catalog. This first video is a showcasing of all the Designer Series Paper in the Occasions.
This next one is the Picture Perfect Party Suite. Great for making birthday and other celebration cards, scrapbook pages and 3D for like party favors!
This last video is all about the Barn Door Bundle. I did get this, but just haven't had much time to really play with it. Hopefully I'll have some samples for you soon! In the meantime, this video will show you how much fun this bundle can be!

Recently one of the women in my monthly swap group, who I've known for a long time, lost both her parents in a week. I've lost both my parents years ago and know how difficult it is, but to loose both in such a short time, must be so hard. My heart goes out to her and her family. Also another friend and customer of mine lost one of her cats recently. She's had a rough time this year with the health of her other cat and has been back and forth to the vet. She was not expecting the healthy one to have any problems. With all this in mind, I wanted to make personalizedcards for each.
Here is the card I made for Mena who lost her parents. I wanted to keep it simple and found this card on Pinterest so went with it. I changed out the ribbon, but I wanted simple and this fit the bill! This is a set in the annual catalog called Touches of Texture. I really like this set but don't seem to use it often! I will have to dig this out more! I used our Blends to color in the flowers & leaves.
This next card is for Doris. The cat she lost looks like a Siamese. He was a beautiful looking cat. I was going to use a retired stamp set I still have and then remembered the cat punch and it's still current! I did case this card but changed several things to make it my own. Thanks for stopping by today. Even though these cards are sympathy cards you could easily change them for anything. I hope you give them a try. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I have extra benefits for my loyal customers which you can check out on my VIP Host Code and Wish List. You can find all the products on used on today's cards in my STORE or scroll down to find all the items listed. Make sure to use this month's VIP Host Code
Hope your week has been going well. I'm so happy I'm finally getting on top of things again! I know this won't last but for the time being, it's a good thing! I had cards to get out this week and swaps to do. Getting some swaps posted earlier this week has certainly helped to get ahead!
It's that time again to showcase some samples using my Product of the Month! I must say I'm really having a great time making samples using the Magical Day and coordinating framelits called Magical Mates. This week I wanted to make a special Valentine's card for my husband and today is a good friend's birthday, so guess what I used! Yup! Nothing like killing two birds with one stone! No I don't do that!
So here is the bundle. You can get them separately, but when you get them together you save 10%! Since it's Sale-a-Bration you could earn a FREE item when you purchase this in wood mount or add some glue dots and then you'll earn a Sale-a-Bration item!
I did case this changing ever so slightly to make it my own! Not sure what they used, but I used the Brusho Crystals on the Stitched circle. My husband is my knight, really! If you've ever been to my home, he had some armour made for him. He used to do school presentations and also appeared at some renaissance faires. So see, he is my knight in shining armour! I thought this was so appropriate for Valentines Day. Next week is his birthday, so I'll have to come up with something else using this set for him as well.
Here is the card I made for my good friend. Since today is her birthday and hopefully she has received her card I thought it was safe to post it. I cased this too, but changed it also for what I was making. It's a shaker card. I used a circle die to create a fish bowl and put a mermaid and seahorse in there. I filled it with the iridescent sequins and used our foam adhesive strips. I'm writing this earlier in the week so I haven't mailed it yet, but don't believe it will cost extra in postage.
Here's a close up of the fish bowl so you can see the watercoloring I did. The hardest part was trying to answer the phone & texts while I was trying to do this coloring! I'm happy with the way it turned out. I hope you like it too. Thanks for stopping by. I hoped you enjoyed these samples and want to give it a try. You can find these items in my STORE or scroll down to find a list of everything I used. Make sure you use this month VIP Host Code F7H7Z6ZZ. Why use the Host Code? Also check out the other benefits for shopping with me. I look forward to your comments. Stop by next week to see what I'm up to!
